3 Years of Kickstarter
Interesting to see the average funding values are still pretty low, despite a few breakthrough projects like DoubleFine raising the bar. Having seen a couple of my mates not get their Instaprint project funded I’m still pretty close to the hard reality of most projects on Kickstarter, which never take off - especially if you can’t afford to promote them or don’t have a huge fanbase already.
Kind of makes it important to have that massive Facebook community ready to fund your stuff now doesn’t it ;)

The Long Drop
If I could build my own home, it woud be full of oddities like this. I still dream of having a swimming pool with a glass floor, with a dining room beneath it. The dining room would be filled with moving, filtered light and the pool would be thrilling to swim in - diving down to see people moving below, in the gas phase.
